Devlog #8: Last Week Of Adding Features
Hello to you once again everyone, welcome back to another devlog!
This week was the last chance to add as many features as possible to our game.
3D MODELS
We have made a few more decorative models for the players to enjoy!

COLLECTIBLES
Dangerous Coin: These coins can only be collected by destroying it with the laser chain, otherwise you get damaged by it.
Normal Coin: You get points when you collect these by just driving over them.
Health Pickup: Restores health and gives points.
Battery Pickup: Restores laser charge and gives points.

GAME CHANGES
During production, we have encountered some frustrating obstacles. The enemy cars that are supposed to kill the players weren't working properly and the coders didn't find a solution in time to fix it. BUT, we have changed the enemy type. We changed it into a rocket that comes towards the players. We also added the spike-strips that will invert the controls when not avoided.
It targets the player when spawning and when it hits you, well, you lose a heart. They are also destructible using the laser and the rocket launcher. Destroying a rocket gives you points, we also added a combo multiplier that allows players to gain extra points the more rockets they destroy in a certain timeframe.
The player movement has now been worked on better.
Unfortunately, we could not put any power-ups in the game, instead, we have put coins that you can collect in-game. It works like the power-up, code-wise, but it has a different function now.
