Devlog #4: Week 2 of Production Sprint 1
Hello people of the internet! Welcome back to another beautiful week of production of Split My Ride!
RHINO IS ALIVE!
We have added texture on our first enemy, The Rhino.
VISUAL FEEDBACK
We have added some visuals to help with what's happening on screen. Like the laser chain, neon health underneath the player's car. We also have made environment assets to make it more presentable. The road itself is also more visually better to look at, instead of a plain road sprite sheet that loops over.
These are the cactus that you'll see during the Desert biome.
These are the road models, replacing the road plane texture. The model stays the same, but changes of aesthetic whenever you enter a different biome.
UPDATED PLAYER MOVEMENT
The car handling of the player's car have been updated and is now better and easier to control for the player itself. The collision has also been updated.
